    I'm trying to make my Jump Menu link open in a 'frame' using Dreamweaver MX and I can't work it out here is the code thus far where do I need to insert the target="frame" kinda thing?

    <form name="form1">
    <div align="center"> <font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
    <select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
    <option selected>MEMBER PROFILES</option>
    <option value="prof-yoshee.htm">Yoshee (RSA and London CR)</option>
    </select>
    <input type="button" name="Button1" value="Go" onClick="MM_jumpMenuGo('menu1','parent',0)">
    </font></div>
    </form>

    At the moment when I click on the link it opens the page in a full parent window and not in the little iframe I have... does this even make sense? :confused:

    Please help before my brain fries totally :)

    You need to specify a target (iframe name) for the link.

    The frame name is 'frame' I can get normal text links to work but this menu won't target the frame and opens the link in a full page of its own :)

    Where to I put whatever it is that tells it to target the frame, that's what I'm having problems with.

    I tried putting 'frame' where it said parent but it wouldn't work...

    I don't believe that jump menus can jump to anythin but the parent page they are fired from.

    The page it's fired from is already in the iframe though... here's the site I'm doing http://www.geocities.com/lunabritsuk/main-ff-l-uk.htm and it's the members link... see how the pages open in the iframe? I need the drop down menu items to also open in the iframe... currently they don't work at all :eek:

    OK, what is it that you want to happen when you hit the GO button? Do you want the member profile to load within the iframe?

    You shouldn't even need the Go button if you are using DW jump menus. Try this in a new page set up as members1.htm

    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
    <!--
    function MM_jumpMenu(targ,selObj,restore){ //v3.0
    eval(targ+".location='"+selObj.options[selObj.selectedIndex].value+"'");
    if (restore) selObj.selectedIndex=0;
    }
    //-->
    </script>
    </head>

    <body>
    <form name="form1">
    <select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
    <option value="members.htm" selected>:: MEMBERS PROFILES ::</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Yoshee (RSA and CR)</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Stormtrooper_fan (Webmistress)</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Ameera</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">DarthArsenal6</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Darth_H</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Darth_MacDaddy</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Enji</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Jedi_padawan_leigh</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">Livi-Wan</option>
    <option value="whatever.htm">MayhemUK</option>
    </select>
    </form>
