Win XP, Outlook Express 6 2004. (not sure what else you need)

Please help me, I am running Norton Internet Security, which scans all incoming and outgoing emails for virus', but I have a HUGE problem with the amount of JUNK/SPAM email I recieve. In excess of 200 per day!!! Viagra emails, Watch Replica Emails, Canadian Pharmaceutical Emails etc etc etc.

I have made sure thet mu PC DOES NOT SEND a read reply to anyone requesting it, however the number of junk emails I recieve just seems to be increasing. Please can you assist me, I am not sure what I can use over the net to download or how to set my PC up to block these emails.

    Your assistance is GREATLY appreciated

    Venus

My husband uses Outlook, gut somehow, somewhere we have setup something wrong, he has two email addresses running to the same email, (as do I) but for some reason he gets DOUBLE of everything, even if it has only been sent to 1 email address - do you perhaps know what could casue this? Or do I ned to type a new thread ... (sorry)

Thanx again for the quick response!

    you could try
'Tools', then 'Options', then on your 'General' tab (should be there by default), take the checkmark out of the box that says 'send and recieve emails at startup'. Hopefully this is what is happening on your pc and it will fix the problem. You should still recieve your emails automatically, but hopefully only one now.
