Help me deceide what to buy...

    I am planning to buy a new cpu. Can someone explain to me which is better processor: AMD, Pentium4, or Celeron. Also difference between RAM, DDR SDRAM. thank you.

    yogi156--- If you want to do an upgrade, everything depends on your mother board. If you don't have a manual for the mobo, go to the manufacturer's web site to find out what type and max speed processor your mobo can take. Also, your mother board will require a specific type of RAM (memory), and will be limited in the amount of RAM it can run.
