Real Player does not run on my Win 98 machine. When I tried to uninstall it, I received an error message that says "Uninstaller Component Missing". How can this program be uninstalled. Can I replace the missing component somehow so that I can reinstall it? Even a new install gives me the same error message duringthe installation. I would never use this program, except I need it to listen to a particular radio station in my area that only broadcasts on Real Player. Thanks for any help.

Try this:

run: C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\Setup\.r1pclean and say yes to remove all instances of Real software.

You are now able to reinstall it.

I hope this helps.
