We run a small network at work, 4 computers all running from a single adsl modem router with 4 ethernet ports, plus several laptops all running wirelessly. I want to add more computers using an ethernet connection. I have seen 'ethernet hubs' and 'switches' for sale -will these do what we need to do and will they all have independent access to the internet? If so will the hub or switch be connected before or after the modem router? We have wired ethernet modules in a conduit around the office to facilitate this. Or are there any other suggestions?
    Many thanks

All you need is a simple Ethernet switch, connect it to one of the ports on the router and you'll have extra ports for more wired connections.
