I couldn't find a Novell forum so I am posting here. I hope you guys can help with this!
    Problem:
We have 2 Novell servers that mirror each other. Bother are Netware 4.x servers. I am haveing a problem with synthetic time so I decieded to start a new epoch. Problem is the guys who put these in 300 years ago never wrote the original admin password down. Now he is nowhere to be found and I have no way to log into the root of the server.

    Question:
Is there anyway to change or reset the root admin password without reinstalling the system?

Yes, I just can't remember how. If you have access to the console you can. I will email my buddy who will know the answer.

Been a long time since i've reset a password on novell too, can't remember how it works anymore.

I have 3 clients left that are running novell, and believe it or not, all 3.12.
