i was looking at buying a second hand pc when one of the specs stumped me.apparantly its a amd athalon 200+ cpu.it was stated that this was equal to a 2.8 ghz is this correct? is this also a good one to buy?thanks
No, but I think you've go the wrong info. There is no Athlon 200+ CPU. If it was an Ahtlon XP2800+, which runs at a true clock speed of 2.08Ghz, then it would be comparable to a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz processor.
As mentioned above a XP2000+ would be compareable to a P4 2.0 and a XP3200+ would be compareable to a 3.2 Ghz P4.
What are the full specs of the computer and whats the price? ANd what do you intend to use it for?
the full specs i was given were an amd athalon 200+ cpu amd motherboard , 250mb ddr ram , cdrw + dvd rom , 40gb hdd , win xp , multimedia keyboard , mouse , office 2000 . publisher 2002 . $350 au dollars. general home use. surfing the net, emailing etc.thanks
My sure that if you are getting the software that you actually get the software on original CD's and with the licenses so that its all legal and that you don't have to go out and buy it at a later time when you find that you will need it.
