Yesterday: My pc was fine and working with my 1 ddr4 8 GB ram 2666 MHz

Today: I installed 2 more sticks of ddr4 8 gb ram 3000 MHZ

When I booted up my pc my fans and fan turned on but my moniter or keyboard lights didn’t turn on
Also when I press the button to turn off my pc it didn’t turn off so I have to turn it off from my power supply thing.

I kept putting them in different slots, still nothing, I put my old ram back because that one always worked but it still wouldn’t work.

I don’t really know much about computers, please help.

Did you touch the RAM chips ? Static electricity from your fingers can kill the RAM. You should always handle RAM sticks just holding both ends with your fingers.

And with the power supply unplugged and the residual power discharged.
