You might be able to with a PS2 keyboard and it has two USB 2 ports above the PS2 port, look at your manual. Although MS says no :
Microsoft support policies with updated Windows 7 & 8.1 guidelines.

Saw something about a special Chipset H310c, see https://www.computerworld.com/artic...of-its-coffee-lake-chipset-just-for-win7.html

In my experience, Windows 7 Professional has the best compatibility rate with all computers. Also, be sure that if you have less than 4gb of RAM you use 32-bit, and if you have 4GB or more of RAM, use 64-bit. Cheers.

The Intel Core i5-8400 processor you have is an 8th generation model which supports only Windows 10.
https://ark.intel.com/products/126687/Intel-Core-i5-8400-Processor-9M-Cache-up-to-4_00-GHz

If you want to install and use Windows 7 SP1, you need a computer that has an Intel 6th generation or older processor.

The Gigabyte GA-H370M-DS3H motherboard you have supports only 8th generation Intel processors
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H370M-DS3H-rev-10#sp
so you don't have the option of switching to an older generation model.

That's correct.
You can only install Windows 10 in a computer that has an 8th generation Intel processor.
