    possum4ev,
We all start somewhere. A driver communicates between the Camera or Printer and Windows. Different versions of Windows require different versions of drivers. Same language,(same camera) different dialect(different Operating system), so to speak.

You now have XP. You may not find drivers for your Hardware. If the Manufacturer chose not to support XP. You may be out of luck. Manufacturers have Web Sites and if you know the make and Model of the camera and printer, you can look for Drivers.

If you need help, post the details and some kind person will come along and help you find what you need. This site is full of nice helpful people.

I was just at the Panasonic site. No luck. But at that price, I don't blame you. HAve you thought about the possibility ofDual booting> Having XP and 98 on the same machine? Here's an idea. Post that Question and get some information about a dual boot. See what you can work out. Plan before you try anything.

ditto on the camera, doesn't look like it's supported (yet - try emailing them and see what they say)
    Panasonic link

    HP psc 750
here's a link to the hp site where they talk about the printer and XP

:) all the great minds working tonight!

re camera: have you tried just plugging it into a usb port - as if you're going to use the camera software - but then open windows explorer and see if there's a new 'drive', like a cd rom drive - if so click on it to open, should see your pictures there
    - can always use other imaging software, like irfanview
