Yesterday, I bought a new DDR1 RAM. When I slot it into my RAM DIMM slot, I turn on my computer, BIOS detect my RAM memory ok, but load into windows it bluescreen. When I use back my old RAM then can on. The RAM was made by Kingston, 512 MB DDR400.

    My computer specfication below:

    Intel Pentium 4 2GHz (Socket 478)
    Asus P4SGL-VM Mainboard
    Apacer 512MB DDR333 RAM & Kingston 512MB DDR400 RAM(new)
    Hitachi 80GB Hard Drive
    Imation DVD-RW
    D-Link PCI LAN Card
    Windows XP SP2

Is it my new RAM got problem???

I checked kingston's site and the ram you installed does NOT show as compatible ram. Did you check before you bought the ram?
