Hello! I need advice. I have a program called Defender Pro 5 in 1. I have had so many problems with it. When I first bought it, it worked Ok but then I couldn't download the updates. I contacted them and they sent me a new disk to download to fix the problems. The only problem is I have to uninstall the original Firewall and Antivirus program before I can reinstall the new programs.
I have repeatedly tried but I keep getting mesages that it can't be installed over the old program. I have done the uninstall and it won't uninstall. It isn't running in the Task manager when I try also. It must be locked in some file somewhere that I can't detect it. I have windows XP. I have looked in my registry and all of my folders and just can't find it to totally uninstall it. I have contacted their customerservice but haven't heard anything. Is there a way to find out where these items are so I can remove them???

    Thanks, Marc

Try this fully functional trial version of Your-uninstaller I find it to be one of the best uninstallers I’ve ever used!
