HELP-restoring a public computer

    i just recieved a computer that was used as a public computer, it had popups, viruses, the whole works, now i am trying to get it all cleaned up, i have ran spybot and adaware, but it is still working very slow, can anyone help, thank you

    In that situation, I would just wipe the hard drive completely and reinstall the OS of your choice, assuming the hardware will support it. It's a lot quicker than trying to clean up somebody else's mess.
