My wifes boss wanter her laptop reformated. Well the laptop had XP Home on it.
and the serial for home ont he sticker, but I didn't have a Home CD. I said I can just install XP pro on it if you would like. She said thats fine, So I statr the install, and tell it to do a full install, and to reformat the the drive. Now when ever I start the laptop, it asked which windows I want to use, Pro or Home. If I do home it basicly tells me it cant find it. If I do Pro, it statrs up fine. The problem I have is that it asks me everytime I boot.

I tried to search for it, But didn't find anything. If there is a thread, please point me in the right direction. If not, Anyone know how to fix the problem?

Try going to MSCONFIG and clicking on the Boot.ini tab. Click on Check all boot paths. If it says you have one that isn't valid it will ask if you want to remove it.. say yes and that should remove the home version.
