Ok I have done everything that is on that page and for some reason it's still not scanning. The message on my scanner keeps reading "CONNECTING PC". I've checked my port, IP address, firewall and it all seems to be correct. I dont know if I should be installing something, but it's not working and I'm getting quite frusterated considering I've been trying to figure this out for hours now.

What OS are you using and is the MFC connected directly to the computer or through a network?

    MSXML 4.0 SP3

Select the "msxml.msi" link, download and save it, close all open windows first, then double-click the saved file to install it.

Windows XP, Vista, and 7 all use it.
