I've recently been inundated with spyware/viruses/trojans/malware etc, and have also been forunate (!) enough to have acquired Security Toolbar 7.1. Obviously I want to delete this permanently, and obviously I can't :S Also, in my system tray, I'm getting a yellow triangular warning icon, which occasionally tells me I am infected with NetWorm [email protected] and [email protected] I've recently updated my anti-virus/internet security (Norton 360), and have also downloaded spybot search and destroy. After reading similar posts telling of similar problems to mine, I've downloaded Hijack This, done a scan and saved the log file. Please can someone inform me what I need to do next?

    Thanks.

OK, so I've managed to remove the toolbar, I used Spybot Search and Destroy and it removed the offending (what I think were) startup files. However, the option of having the Security Toolbar 7.1 displayed on IE is still available when I right click the appropriate places on IE. How do I go about fully removing the toolbar (and any other potentially harmful crap) from my system? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
