Hi! I am able to surf the net using Firefox, but whenever I try to use Internet Explorer, it always says "Cannot find server", no matter what address I try to go to. Also, even if I'm connected to the net, some programs that require going online (like for registration, updates, etc.) end up not being able to connect at all, even though with Firefox, everything's okay. I haven't been able to log in Yahoo Messenger for the longest time either, no matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall it. I suspect all these stem from one problem, but I don't know what. Can anyone please help? Thank you!

Check that your firewall is not blocking IE etc.

I did, still not working. Whenever I try to go to google, it tries to search for google.edu, google.org, etc, before getting a DNS error. I can't even install YM anymore because it "can't connect to the server".

I already ran Spybot countless times, did the ntsh reset already, but I still can't get IE to work. YM won't work, can't even install it...
