    Hi,

When I try to install flash player a message appears that says connection failed.
It appears something is blocking the software from being installed.

We need more information so we can help you. Please run the TSG System Information Utility & post the information it shows in your reply. Also we need to know what web browser your using & the exact error message your seeing & when does it come up. The more information we have the better we can help you.

I agree that downloads can be difficult to find when the default location is used. That is why I always change it to somewhere that I know where to find them. Even then the rules are often ignored and software is put where you cannot easily find it.

    Look in:
    C:\\USERS\(your username)\DOWNLOADS
where (your username) is the name you are currently logged on to your computer as.

This is the latest flash download for IE in Windows 7.
    Code:
    http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_19_active_x.exe
You will get a popup. Let it download, close the browser then install it.
