I have a wireless home network. I have two laptops both of which I use with a wireless card. On one of them I am able to use it without any problem. On the other laptop however, although it shows the laptop as connected to the wireless network, it does not obtain a valid ip address. When I look for the ip address, it gives me an invalid address: 169. x.x.x
I was using the wireless connection at another friends place yday using the same laptop and it connected just fine. When I try to do an ipconfig /release, it gives me back the same ip address 169. instead of a
Also, when I try an ipconfig /renew, it just times out.

Any ideas? Am completely frustrated by now :((.

    Thanks a million,
