Hi, I need help deciding what to do

I have ubuntu on 1 partition of my hard drive

And I want to merge that partition back with mine so i can reclaim that 10 gb but I'm not sure about how to do that.

Also if anyone could answer this i would be happy: Would the "Grub" bootloader that is associated with ubuntu go away If i delete and merge these?

    Thank you :)

You should be able to delete the Ubuntu volume and then extend the system volume to use the freed up space.

GRUB will not go away on its own, it must be overwritten with another bootloader, probably the one for Windows I'm guessing. It would be bad if it just went away because then you would have an unbootable machine.
