I didn’t know whether to post it in this thread or the windows 7 three but my windows 10 laptop the ASUS I have needed a recovery so I searched how to do it and did what it said I thought everything was fine but then I looked I found out it had degraded to windows 8 so me being the fool that i am decided to try and find a way to get back to windows ten by another recovery but it did the opposite it instead put me to windows 7 premium and now I’m stuck here with no clue what to do and now a windows 7 laptop that can’t connect to the internet like it could at the windows 10 stage

You can use another computer to make Windows 10 installation media using a 4GB or larger USB stick or a DVD disc, then boot off that and do a clean install of Windows 10 or run the installation from within Windows to do an upgrade. If you have data or programs that survived the to recovery procedures I'd recommend you do a backup first.

Since you already had Windows 10 there should be no license concerns and you can skip entering in a Windows key.

Here's the site to download Windows 10 and make the installation media: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

Also the term is downgraded not degraded.
