Hello!

I am unable to reach the internet at tthe moment, and the problem is missing drivers to my network card (ADMtek An983 10/100Mbps PCI Adapter). I've tried going to the manufacturers website, but its a major jerk (Infineon.com). I've also tried googling and stuff, but no luck. Help, please : )

Tried them all. Either they're not working or they're just bs sites.

Network cards from better established consumer manufacturer's are very cheap.

I agree with Triple6. Buy a well-known, name-brand network card - such as Linksys or D-Link or NetGear.

I got the drivers on a old XP disc. I cant use it as it is, as its XP only, but i can take out the drivers and put them where they're supposed to be? Is there some generic thing that i can use to get onto internet and use Windows Update?
