 HI - I have some programs in my add/remove programs that I want to uninstall however when I try to uninstall it says it is missing the installation log file which is probably on the disks (they are my kids games), but they are gone. Is there anyway to uninstall without the log files? THanks! :) :)

Right-click deleting the folder in the Program Files directory, or the root directory of [C], are two steps. the other step is using a program like CleanMenu to remove the entry from the Add/Remove Programs list. This site might have what you want. http://www.digitalizo.com.ar/paginas/utiles.htm

Be very cautious with CleanMenu and delete it after you're through with it. It could mess your system up if the wrong item(s) are deleted with it, and it could also be misused in the wrong hands as well.

Check out Add/Remove Pro from the Freeware section here;http://www.superwin.com/index.htm

It may not be any more successful than Windoze own tool but, as far as I know, it won't do any harm and it does have a backup function so you can restore any changes it makes if you want to.
