    Originally used IE/OE 5.5-upgraded to IE/OE 6
How does one configure V6 to:

See mail coming in automatically [instead of having to go up to 'Send/Recieve' and clicking on the default]

    And...

Why is it that now whenever I send something from my Hotmail account to home isp account [sprint] I am unable to open the email attachments [greyed out]-how to configure?

Any other suggestions re:OE6 greatly appreciated! :)

    Last question...
    What 'improvements/advantages are with IE/OE 6??

    Thanks

    Gary

Tools>Options>General(tab)>checking box "When starting go directly to my Inbox" should open OE at your Default inbox.

Tools>Options>Security>UNcheck box"Do not allow attachements to be saved or opened...." wioll take care of the greyed out paperclip

Many, many sugguestion re: OE are here INSIDE OE

If you go to Tools > Options > you can select how often to check for new email and make sure you have a check to play sound when new messages arrive.
