I would like to know how to boot directly to the desktop and not have the log on box appear and have to click on OK. I know there is a way to get it off but I can't remember. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using XP Home.

    You could also try

    Start > Run

    Type in control userpassword2

    Click "ok"

UNcheck the box for "users must use a password........"
