I am trying to FDISK my PC, I am using windows XP PRO, I do not know how to get to the command prompt for this.
I have a CD that can with my Alienware system that when you put it in Drive it starts loading up windows files I hit f10 afterwards and I do go to command prompt but the C:/windows prompt, not the c:/ prompt to Fdisk

    What do I do?

This will make you a boot disk for Win98SE that has fdisk.

But you don't need fdisk to install XP. Just boot from the CD. Setup will make partitions and format.
