help with formating my HD

    Ok when i go to do a format this is what i do....

    a:/format: c

    and i get this

    Required parameter missing

    The syntax should just be "format c:" - no quotes.

    now i get parameter format not correct - C

    Did you enter C: or just C

    Also, if the hard drive was previously formatted as a NTFS partition, you will need to delete it and recreate it again before you can format a C: drive.
