HELP WITH GPT partiton

    ok so i have a hard drive on a GPT partition that i wanna take some data off of and put it onto my Vista computer, when i plug the HD into the Vista machine i cant assign it a letter drive, i read that vista can read GPT partitoins so why cant i access teh data on it.

    Ubuntu supports GPT, so you could boot with the Live CD and then copy your files to another thumb drive. Vista-32 should support these partitions for read and write but not boot. Do you see the drive in Disk Management?

    Right-click Computer > Manage > Disk Management.
