I'm trying to help a friend who's computer has been hijacked. I've already done adaware, spybot, avg, and removed several things from msconfig...
This cleaned out the bulk of the junk... But there are still a couple problems. There is a virus, collected.AE found by avg in c:\temp\install.exe. It gets cleaned or deleted. But keeps getting put back.
Also, regedit and msconfig won't open in normal mode (ok in safe).
Oh, and I removed norton(2k3) in favor of AVG. But there are several norton entries in the hjt log. Is it ok to remove these?

If this was my machine, I'd just start hacking things out until I got it.... But since its not, I thought I'd ask for advice first...

    heres the log:
