So I just moved to a new house, and I have the internet working... wireless network is set up but for some reason my xbox 360 will not connect to xbox live. When I test the connection it says that the IP Adress fails, yet I'm not sure why because I have dhcp enabled.

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

could it be becuase the dhcp has the same ip as the default gateway? and if so, how do I change this? Any help is greatly appriciated.

Both the Gateway and Dhcp server should be your router, as they are. In your TCP/IP properties you want 'obtain DNS auto.' That address in your ipconfig must be left over from some other router.
