    Hi, I wasn't sure if this is the correct forum but I really need help.
    I recently bought a Asus 23.5 inch monitor for gaming and I want to connect my speakers because the built in stereo speakers aren't very good. The problem is my speakers use a RCA to AUX 3.5mm cable to connect to ipods or tvs but the monitor only has a green input audio connection. Is there any way for me to connect my speakers to the monitors, I'm open to any suggestions or help. The monitor did come with a green audio cable, Is it possible to connect a RCA to female 3.5mm and then connect the green audio into the female end.

    Ps. I used to connect the speakers to my TV and it worked fine. The Tv had the little Headphone connection.

    The monitor I use -----> http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...6f33c8753a1210e8b63b3en02&fromBrandStore=asus

    Any help is appreciated and sorry if this is the wrong forum.

    What is the make/model of your external speakers? What is the connection type?

    You should connect the speakers to the computer.

    Hey,
    The speakers are Audionic BT-850. I got em as a gift from my cousins. It uses the Red and White rca to AUX cable. I have tried connecting it to my monitor but it doesnt work since the monitor only has audio input and no output connection. I have attached a picture of the speaker.
    Its a little dirty but take a look.

    Lol I would do that but unfortunately I have the monitor hooked up to my PS4, so no cpu. Only way I use it now is by connecting the AUX into the controller but i can't play games then. Im just looking for an easier setup. Thanks for replying
