I am having a tough time writing a formula that will SUMIF, here is the scenario.

    Sumif

(If the value in cell A51 = value in column C) AND ((if the value in cell C50 falls within the range of columns G to H add value from column I) OR (if the value in cell C50 falls within the range of columns L to M add value from column N)

    Screen shot is attached.

Rather than trying to use an OR, I would use separate SUMIFS to get one value from the Precontract and one value from the Construction element then add them.

So the formula in C51 would be

    =SUMIFS(N3:N11,C3:C11,A51,L3:L11,"<"&C50,M3:M11,">"&C50)
    +SUMIFS(I3:I11,C3:C11,A51,G3:G1,"<"&C50,H3:H11,">"&C50)
