Hi, I am using Windows Me and whenever I start my computer after the Me screen, I HAVE to press cancel on a dialog box that asks for a username and password. After the cancel it takes me to the normal desktop. So my question is that how do I get rid of password dialog box that does not even ask for anything except press cancel.....thanks for letting me ramble....also i know it must have to do with password settings...but i have tried EVERYTHING...

well you don't have to enter a password but you are supposed to click ok & not cancel

as far as how to rid yourself the headache... I used to know in Win98 ... let me search for ME's version of it
