Hello,

I've just purchased a laptop with Vista as the operating system. The computer has 1GB of RAM. I installed Word 2003. It opens fine, but when I try to change the Office Assistant (Paper clip guy, Puppy, Cat, etc.) I get the message "There is not enough memory to perform this task." Is 1GB of RAM not enough to run Vista and use Word's extras? Is 1GB of RAM enough?

Thanks!

I get the same problem, also on Vista with 1Gb RAM. When I right click on the paperclip and choose "Choose Assistant" nothing happens so I have to double click and choose options. Then when I go to gallery I get the not enough memory message with that really annoying broken sound that Vista makes. And that just makes the whole thing even worse.

[EDIT]: But, like, 1Gb of RAM is very much enough.
