Hello,Iv Recently Gotten A Web host And i'm Currently building My First Full Web Site. I know Basic Html And A bit of JavaScript. Well Anyway with My Hosting Service came A Email Server And So instead of Making A Basic site I Want to make a complex One. With A Free Membership Service Like Once you log on, it Takes you to a Member's Section with bunch of opition's and after the user submits the form the system automatically Processes it and give's them their E-MAIL in the Member's Section and I was told that The Type of stuff I wanted to Create would have to be Done with PHP and MySql. Cuz it would need a Database Well My Host come's with PHP & MySql except these are both new Lang's to Me. So Iv been going from one Message Board to another and Iv even tried Live Chat's trying to get info on this if it is correct or if I need to do something else or what. Iv been to dozens of Online Tutorial's and Iv been told to get certian Book's on both Subject's. Well to make A long story short Iv got ton's of Book's on both Subject's and none of them quite help me cuz they give long explanations and i get lost in the middle. So i guess what im asking is does anybody know bout PHP&MySql or have any experience with them and if so which Lang do I need to Build My site with to get the membership functionality And How Do i go bout Doing it ? PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU CAN HELP Anything Will Help me at this point

Thank You For Your Time :)

Talk to the man that runs this board. I am not sure about his database, but you can see it is written in PHP. Just because you have an web host doesn't mean they support PHP and databases. You need to find out first hand what they do support before you go full staem ahead and write something you cannot use.
