    Hi all,

This is my 1st post. I am running Win Xp SP3 Pro and have Smartlink 56 K v.92 PCI Modem. Recently after a clean install this problem started; as soon as i create a dialup connection and attempt to dial to my ISP, the system reboots and prompts after it is back on that a serious error has occurred and on continuing the regime MS says that a device deriver may have malfunctioned. I updated the modem driver to 4.20.01 with no results. The modem helper functions like a beauty and reports no errors. It even detects dialtone and performs a dialling test without any hitch.
