I posted a few days ago about my kids computer, stuck in the black screen, it kept saying windows was not installed, I had the computer built about 6 months ago or less and so i asked everyone here if I could borrow a friends CD to redownload windows, everyone pretty much the same thing, NO it had to be deleted and re downloaded or something to that affect, anyway, I tried to delete and nothing would happen, I booted up the computer and kept pressing F8 to get to the main menu and my arrows were working at first, I never had a floppy drive installed but yet it keeps saying rebooting from floppy drive, when I go into the F8 menu and try to change my main booting from floppy to cd, nothing happens, I can't get past this stupid screen, nothing is happening, I thought at first the computer was shut down improperly, but now I am left wondering...should I just take it to a computer expert and let them deal with it, cuz I put the cd in the drive and it doesn't even start to run...HELP HELP HELP...I am ready to throw it out the window...it did have windows 2000 home edition on it.....

Wendy,

Why are you opening multiple threads for the same problem as it make it very difficult to follow your problem. I asked you before please don't.

Is the Windows CD a XP CD and is it a purchased legal copy? As John stated we will not allow discussions for illegal software use.
