heuristic ???

    What is the use of heuristic?
    Why is it useful in TIC TAC TOE?
    How does heuristic perform its search in tic tac toe game?
    Can someone answer me...

    noun: a commonsense rule (or set of rules) intended to increase the probability of solving some problem.

    Lookup the following, tree spanning, tree pruning, simulation, gaming, Algorithms.

    In computers used to determine the "best" of several choices based on previous experience. Ex. in TTT after several rounds of play the computer will know what moves resulted in winning or losing and will choose accordingly in the next round.
