I have a lot of experience with personal and business related IT support mostly with Microsoft products.

I am currently self employed as IT Service technician supporting home and small businesses.

I have been contracted to work for:

Propharma / Healthcare Logistics NZ as a System Support Technician.
John Andrew Ford and Mazda as a Systems Administrator
Samsung Electronics as a Technical Support Analyst
Electronic Data Systems (now based in India) supporting a large variety of clients
Whitcoulls NZ and Borders NZ book stores as a Technical Anaylst
Vodafone as a Desktop Support Analyst (permanent employee)

I would love to offer my services to this website in my free time as I really enjoying helping people.

A few questions I have:

Do I just start responding to peoples problems on the forum?
How do you vet people that are interested in helping to make sure they are the right sort?
Is there some kind of ticketing system used?
Do you have enough people helping out already?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

Welcome to the forums.

Yes.

Anyone and everyone is allowed to post except in the malware forums where only authorized trained individuals can reply to posts.

Is there some kind of ticketing system used?
No, it's just an open forum.

Do you have enough people helping out already?
The forums can always use more helpers and members.
