Hi I've been trying to find out all the info I can on this stupid spyware and all information takes me to your forum. As you may already know I have a stupid pop up that keeps occuring every so often. The pop up displays some sort of add and identifies itself as "Popuppers advertisement window3"

Had the same problem - CONT+ALT+DEL - open Task Manager - located two files at the root of my problem - prjMensagem (program running) file newpop63.exe and an accompanying file. Deleted both. Then found another program associated with praut.exe with an associated file again -- could not simply delete both since exe-file blocked. Opened that file using editor, selected and deleted content. Returned to file and deleted it. Gone!

    I run Windows XP OS.

If you wonder about these things wait until the screen pops up. do the C+A+D open the Task manager - select and end process. The screen closes.

I'm no expert, but perhaps this will help you.

First off make a new folder in my documents and put hijack this in there because on the desktop you cannot create backups

so move hijack this to a folder in my documents
