Ok, I think I did all the things MFDnSC said to do correctly; the one thing is that I think I dwnloaded a wrong program or two; the wrong programs are the Spysubtractor, (Spy installer,) and Spysubtractor (w/CWShredder). I first did the LSP fix, that went fine; it's I believe, when I installed and ran the Spysubtractors. On start-up I got an Error message saying: (Ssdpsrv has caused an error in MSAFD.DLL); I got rid of this error message by going to Run, msconfig, and simply unchecking Ssdpsrv in the Start up tab. Whew! I continue to boot normally, but the same Error message pops up again, only Explorer is in place of Ssdpsrv. I can try to close this error message only for it come back again and again; I can navigate through system files but the message will always be on top, though I can move it out my way to see what I'm doing. Oh! I did have CWS only it is version 1.59.0.1, ran it, and it gave a clean report, though I'm sure there is a more recent version of CWS I should of ran but didn't, DOH! I booted into Safe Mode, ran HJT, fixed all the entries except the final entry only because it was not present, I think LSP had something to do with that one; cleared the Temp files with the Run command, %temp%; checked "Show hidden files and folders", deleted from C: sunburner, but windovs with a "v" was not present, so was unable to delete that. Alas, here is the Hi-Jack This Log, Thank You!! :) Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.0

If this post is a continuation of another post, you need to keep your replies together in the same post. By starting another post, noone knows what was done previously.

You've got unnecessary programs running in the background, but we can deal with that later.

Thanks, Telecomm69. I just went there and added my 2 cents worth.

Yeah, I did not mean to cause any confusion over the post/s; I know now, and knowing is half the battle! :D I don't really know what to do about the Error pop-up that says:(Explorer has caused an error in MSAFD.DLL), sans quotes. I try to get rid of it by clicking on the close or the X at the corner of the pop-up, but it comes back within 1-2 seconds all the time over and over again. Please excuse the response time, I want to be faster, but I have to go to work, and sometimes forget to respond faster! :p If you need an updated HJT Log, will do ASAP, but the last one I posted is in fact the latest. Thanks again so much!! :) NOTE: I can still navigate around the system with error pop-up, just have to move it out of the way, but if I do shut down Explorer, I won't be able to do anything, since all windows are in fact Explorer right?!?
