Having 2 anti-virus programs running at the same time can cause conflicts though. (Norton and AVG). You might want to remove one of them. Unless it's not causing a problem for you.

You definitely do not want to have 2 antivirus programs installed and running at the same time because they will fight with each other and can bring your computer to a halt.
