Hi, my computer shuts down and it takes forever to turn back on!

Hi, the last few days I've been having problems with my computer. When I go to start and press shut down, it will actually shut off but when I turn it on, it won't come on for about 5 minutes. It works great other than this. What can I do to fix it and what could this mean?

Oh I have windows 98 and its an etower 366c computer. The computer does come on after five minutes.

It sounds like it is running hot. Try moving it to an electrical outlet where nothing else is on that circuit and also remove the cover and leave it off and see if that will help also.

The circuit breaker in the power pack might be getting weak.
