Is there a way I can set Windows XP Pro to go into Hibernation by
    Keyboard command.

Currently I have it timed for 30 minutes but sometimes I know I'm
done for a few hours and would like to just hit a keyboard command
and have it go into hibernation.

    Can this be done?

    Thank you

You might be able to (depending on the make/manufacturer of your PC) go into the power management settings under control panel, and change the option of "When I press the power button" to "Hibernate" instead of "Turn off".

It won't be a keyboard combination, but you would be able to hit the power button on your pc and have it go into hibernate instead of turning off.
