Hibernation Problem on WXP

    I am running window XP home edition on my home computer. I have 2G's of Ram I have noted that when my computer goes in to hibernation it will not cut off after the specified set time has passed.

    Perhaps, I have it wrong maybe it is not suppose to cut off after hibernation . Can someone explain???:rolleyes:

    I haven't found xp's hibernation very successful specially coming out of hibernation

    make sure that hibernation is enabled in power options properties.right click on the desktop click click screensaver /power and check hibernation is enabled.
