High-def audio card and speakers!

    O, I had a question I posted, guess it didn't come up...

    I've heard that no movies or games upport 7.1 channel audio, is this true?

    Thats pretty true, I haven't seen anything over 5.1 channels.

    ooo sugar, does that mean I can't any audio at all, or only five speakers will work with the subwoofer

    The Creative mixer should allow you to 'fill' the remaining channels with audio. After all MP3's and audio CD's are only two channel but most sound cards upmix them to 5.1 channels.

    Would you happen to know if my sound card would be one of them? If this is true, I can use the Upmix thing on my Speakers to change to 5.1 channels, and then listen in 5.1?

    Yes your Creative sound card should do that no problem, just set it to the number of speakers that you have.
