High.
In my add\remove programs window is a High Definition Audio Driver Package. It has after it, kb888111. Is this just an update patch from microsoft?
I ask because that's all there is.
I can't find where the driver itself is installed. It looks like an update, without a program. If i need these drivers, where could i get them?
chuck.
That appears to be an update patch from Microsoft for the High Definition Audio class driver.
I don't know anything about it, just looked up the kb number for you.
If you go to add/remove programs and put a tick mark in The little box at the top about show updates and then look for kb888111 down the list you should find it. I would not remove it it might be a needed update.
You can also go thru Windows Updates and check the installed updates on your computer it should show up on The left side of the screen.
