High Latency to Default Gateway?

    As of late whenever I, or any of my roommates, browse the internet we have noticed a slower browsing experience, where pages used to load instantly, there is now a noticeable delay in accessing web pages. Also, in playing online video games, whether it be on the PlayStation 3 or PC gaming, high latency is always present. The problem is present whether there is one computer connected, or five, Mac or PC, Wireless a/b/g/n or if connected through the ethernet port. What I ask is: What causes such behavior, and what can I do, if anything, to resolve this issue?

    Running a DGL-4500 D-Link Router with Comcast service.

    so the problems just started happening? it could be one computers thats on the route from your computer to the actual server may be having issues.
    how long have you been having this issue?
    9/10 i would say one of the routs are having problems. but you could have downloaded some malacious software or something. is your computer slow or is it just the internet and online gaming?

    Was the line quality test with a computer connected directly to the modem or using the router also? See what you get with the other way.

    Also, what results do you get with modem only and with the router from a test such as Speedtest.net?
