    Cheers for reply have run blaster patch and fix tool and didnt find virus on system ??

    Have deleted the directx value fron the registery

    IF it's not msblast then iexploree.exe might be one of the spybot.gen types. You need to remove both of it's entries using HJT and reboot to SAFE mode and actually delete the file

    This (these will be different file names) could be used as a guide for checking the registry

    Get a good online virus scan after that

    Finally, download Spybot - Search and Destroy

    Use the beta updates - after installing, press Settings, and Settings again.
    Go to the Webupdate section, and check "Display also available beta versions".
    After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
