My computer has been slow lately. It is old and has always been slow but latley it is ridiculous. I scanned for malware with Mbam and Avira. No problems. The attached hijack this log shows two odd looking letters after "Hosts:". What are they? I never noticed that before. Has my Hosts file been compromised?

Your log can't be viewed as an attachment, so I'm copying-and-pasting it.

What's the brand name, model name, and model number of your computer?

How much RAM does it have?

-------------------------------------------------------

Start HiJackThis, but don't run a scan.

Click on the "Open The Misc Tools Section" button.

Click on the "Open Uninstall Manager" button.

Click on the "Save List" button.

Save the "uninstall_list.txt" file somewhere.

It'll then open in Notepad.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the entire file here.
